Locum and Fixed-Term Contracts in Sunny Queensland!
3 to 12 month contracts

We are partnering with a respected specialist breast imaging service seeking an experienced Mammographer, Breast Radiographer or Sonographer for upcoming locum and fixed-term contract opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded, hospital-based breast clinic and provide compassionate, accurate imaging support to women throughout their breast health journey.

About the Service:

The clinic delivers a comprehensive breast health service, including diagnostic imaging, mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI, specialist consultations and interventional procedures.

You will work alongside experienced Radiologists, Surgeons, Clinical Geneticists, Pathologists, Nurses, Radiographers and Sonographers in a collaborative multidisciplinary workplace.

About the Role:

Depending on your background and scope of practice, you may support:

- Screening and diagnostic mammography
- Breast ultrasound and diagnostic work-up imaging
- Patient preparation and support throughout imaging appointments
- Quality assurance and high clinical imaging standards
- Complex diagnostic cases and breast imaging procedures
- A calm, patient-centred experience in what can be an understandably anxious time for patients

About You:





- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner / Radiographer, or a recognised Sonography qualification
- Mammography, breast imaging and/or breast ultrasound experience
- Queensland Radiation Use Licence, or eligibility to obtain one
- Robust communication skills and a compassionate patient-centred approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to image quality, patient safety and clinical excellence
