About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Finance Officer to join our Finance Team in a full-time, office-based role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and enjoys delivering high-quality outcomes.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with teams across the business and play a key role in ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate invoicing, collections, and cash allocation. You will also provide professional support to both internal stakeholders and external customers, helping to keep our financial operations running efficiently.

This role offers a good level of autonomy. You will be responsible for managing your day-to-day tasks independently, while working collaboratively with the team and supporting colleagues as needed. If you’re a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys variety, teamwork, and taking initiative, this role provides an excellent foundation to grow your skills in a stable and supportive finance team.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete end-to-end Accounts Receivable processing

- Raise and issue customer invoices accurately and on time

- Calculate, verify and process agency commissions across client deals, ensuring agreed rates and deal terms are applied accurately

- Monitor aged receivables and follow up on overdue accounts





- Allocate and reconcile customer receipts and remittances

- Provide account and payment status updates to customers

- Assist with Accounts Payable as required

- Support internal staff and handle ad hoc tasks as needed

- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, including the use of AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and accuracy

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

- Minimum of five years’ relevant experience in a full Accounts Receivable function

- Proficiency in accounting systems (preferably MYOB Acumatica or MYOB Advanced)

- Experience calculating agency commissions and interpreting deal or rate-card terms, ideally in media, advertising or a similar deal-driven workplace

- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

- Power BI experience highly regarded

- A flexible, approachable, and proactive attitude
