Mount Cotton Sourdough Bakers is a fast-paced environment specialising in traditional Sourdough Breads, Gourmet Pies and French inspired Cakes & Pastries.

We are currently seeking a Store Manager on a 12 month maternity leave contract, with the potential for ongoing employment.

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent customer service skills, a passion for all things coffee and a willingness to support and connect with our local community.

This role will require one weekend day.

· Lead the daily operation of the bakery, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a very high standard.

· Supervise and motivate the retail team, fostering a positive workplace culture.

· Proven experience in leading and inspiring teams.

· Ability to provide a genuine customer experience.

· Deliver excellent customer service, addressing customer queries promptly.





· Strong organisation and communication skills.

· Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring stock levels are maintained.

· Oversee merchandising, stock rotation, and maintaining an attractive shopfront.

· Uphold food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety standards at all times for the retail team.

· Participate in hands-on baking and preparation as required, maintaining the quality and consistency of our products.

· Oversee financial management including cash handling, banking, and sales reporting.

· Operation of POS software.

· Operation of Cybake software.

· Barista experience is essential.

· A positive attitude and take pride in your personal style and presentation.
