This is a hands-on role for someone who is keen to work, willing to get stuck in and interested in learning the civil construction and earthworks industry.
You will be working outdoors across a variety of civil and earthworks projects, assisting plant operators and supervisors and carrying out general labouring and site duties. This is a physically active role involving genuine manual labour, so we are looking for someone who is prepared to work hard and contribute to the team.
Key Responsibilities
· Assisting with general civil and earthworks site duties
· Performing manual labour and physically demanding tasks as required
· Supporting plant operators and supervisors with site activities
· Assisting with site preparation, clean-up and general site maintenance
· Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment
· Maintaining clean, organised and protected work areas
· Following site instructions, SWMS, pre-start requirements and safety procedures
· Identifying and reporting hazards, incidents and safety concerns
· Participating in site inductions, pre-starts, toolbox talks and training
· Following reasonable instructions from supervisors and working as part of a team

You don't need years of experience, we're more interested in finding someone who is reliable, keen and genuinely wants to work.

· Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour
· Willing to work outdoors and in a physically demanding setting
· Able to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
· Takes pride in their work and is prepared to get stuck in
· Previous civil or construction experience is preferred but not essential
· HR licence is advantageous but not essential
· Ability to identify and raise safety concerns when something doesn't look right
