About The Role

Join the Limestone Coast Local Health Network as a Clinical Senior Physiotherapist, providing high-quality clinical services and professional leadership across the region. This is a temporary full-time position available to provide parental leave backfill. There may be an prospect for extension, subject to service requirements and funding.

As an experienced and highly competent clinician, you will provide complex clinical and consultancy Physiotherapy services while supporting the quality, safety and development of services across LCLHN. You will work collaboratively with allied health staff, managers and other stakeholders to support models of care and workforce development initiatives.

As a clinical leader, you will provide supervision, mentoring and support to Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants, while contributing to clinical education, service improvement and evidence-based practice. This position works closely with two other Senior Clinical Physiotherapists as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

About You

You are an experienced Physiotherapist with advanced clinical expertise and the ability to provide professional leadership in a rural health environment. You bring strong clinical judgement, communication and leadership skills and are committed to developing others, improving services and delivering high-quality, evidence-based and person-centred Physiotherapy care.

To succeed in the Clinical Senior Physiotherapist role, you will:

- Hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and be eligible for registration and practising membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrate specialist professional expertise and the ability to provide complex clinical and consultancy Physiotherapy services with a high level of professional independence.
- Provide clinical and qualified leadership, supervision and mentoring to Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and students, supporting professional development and high-quality practice.
- Demonstrate high-level interpersonal,



communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective professional relationships and contribute to multidisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration.
- Hold a current driver's licence and be willing to drive on country roads and undertake intra-state travel, including travel in light aircraft as required.

About Physiotherapy

The Limestone Coast Local Health Network Physiotherapy team delivers services across a diverse regional and rural healthcare environment. Clinical Senior Physiotherapists provide clinical and professional leadership across LCLHN, supporting the delivery of high-quality Physiotherapy services and contributing expertise to complex clinical care. Clinical service areas delivered by the team include acute inpatients, subacute inpatient rehabilitation, paediatric and adult outpatients, community and residential aged care, as well as cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.

Working closely with allied health leaders and multidisciplinary teams, the role supports clinical supervision, workforce development, education, evidence-based practice and service improvement, while helping ensure Physiotherapy services are responsive to the needs of clients, families and communities across the Limestone Coast.

Conditions of Employment

- A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
- A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) issued by the Department of Human Services is required.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
- A current driver's licence is essential, with a willingness to drive on country roads and travel as required.
- Immunisation Risk for this position is – Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances).
- SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy
