Sushi Brazilia is looking for an experienced and passionate Sushi & Sashimi Chef to join our food truck team in Melbourne.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality, presentation and consistency, and who is confident working in a rapid-paced food truck environment.
About the role
Prepare high-quality sushi, sashimi, nigiri and rolls
Fish preparation, cutting and portioning
Maintain excellent food presentation and consistency
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Help with daily preparation and kitchen organisation
Work as part of a small, friendly team
About you
Previous experience as a sushi chef is preferred
Solid sashimi and knife skills
Positive understanding of food safety and hygiene
Able to work independently
Reliable, punctual and well organised
Experience in a food truck or fast-paced kitchen is an advantage
