Our Café is the heartbeat of our store — quick-paced, vibrant, and built around exceptional coffee, fresh food, and genuine customer experience. We are now seeking a dynamic Café | Front of House (FOH) Department Manager to lead this space with energy and passion.
About The Role |
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations within our Café. You will lead from the floor — setting the standard in service, pace, and presentation — while driving team performance and commercial outcomes.
You will be accountable for:
Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing FOH team
Creating a positive and customer focused culture
Delivering exceptional customer experiences every shift
Managing rosters, daily productivity and café operations
Maintaining premium visual merchandising and café presentation
Ensuring food safety, compliance, and operational standards are upheld
Working collaboratively with kitchen and senior leadership teams
This role requires someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and understands how to balance service excellence with commercial performance.
Skills, Experience & Attributes |
3+ years’ experience in café, hospitality, or retail food leadership
Proven experience managing teams in a rapid-paced environment
Robust understanding of coffee operations and FOH workflow
Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
A proactive, solutions-focused leadership style
Availability for early mornings, weekends and peak trading periods
