Rogue is Newstead's OG neighbourhood restaurant offering a relaxed 5-course degustation menu that changes monthly. Known for our range of dego menus that cater to most dietary requirements, we aim to focus on straightforward food executed with precision that features the best of local and seasonal produce. We pride ourselves on implementing a vast range of cooking techniques, challenging each menu to improve on the last.
We also work alongside our sister venue (literally right next door!), The Refinery, one of Brisbane's Best Wedding Venues.
We are a tight-knit team that hustles with the goal of being the best in everything we do, but most importantly maintaining a friendly work environment and a positive work culture.
THE ROLES
We're looking for a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie to join our dream team at Rogue who is:
Keen to stay long term and grow with us
Organised and efficient with attention to detail
Skilled and well-presented
Friendly and a excellent communicator
Available to work Wednesday-Sunday
REQUIREMENTS
Efficient in general prep duties
Capable in running a section
Go-getter attitude, eager to learn
PAY & PERKS
Commis Chef: $72k per annum Super
Chef de Partie: $80k per annum Super
Shared kitchen tips
Personal locker & dedicated staff room amenities for breaks
Annual 2 week closure over Christmas
