As an Optical Dispenser, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience for our patients. Working closely with our optometrists and practice teams, you will:
Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that best suit their needs and lifestyle
Provide outstanding customer service and product advice
Support optometrists with patient flow and practice operations
Perform minor frame adjustments and repairs
Process sales and administrative tasks accurately
Maintain attractive retail displays and presentation of the practice
Contribute to a welcoming and professional setting for patients and colleagues

About The Candidate
At GMHBA Eye Care, we're passionate about delivering exceptional eye care and customer service to our communities. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Optical Dispensers to join our team across our Leopold, Geelong and Waurn Ponds practices.
Role
Whether you have previous optical experience or are looking to build a career in eye care, we'd love to hear from you., To succeed in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a customer service, retail or healthcare environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confidence using computer systems and completing administrative tasks
A genuine interest in eye health and helping people
A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
Valuable To Have
Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing or equivalent qualification
Previous experience working in an optical practice would be added advantage
Knowledge of frames, lenses and optical products
