About the role

You'll spend your days servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of passenger vehicles while delivering the level of workmanship our customers have come to expect from Top Drop Automotive. You'll work in a up-to-date, well-equipped workshop alongside a professional team that values communication, accountability and continuous improvement. You'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of vehicles, use modern diagnostic equipment and continue developing your skills as both a technician and a professional.

Key responsibilities
Service and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
Carry out accurate fault-finding and determine the correct repair approach.
Prepare clear and accurate service reports and repair notes.
Complete work efficiently without compromising on workmanship.
Keep your workspace clean, organised and protected.
Look after workshop equipment and your own tools.
Communicate clearly with management about vehicle progress and any additional repairs required.
Work collaboratively with the team and contribute to a positive workshop workplace.

About you
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).




Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Automotive Technician.
Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence.
Your own trade tools.
Mechanical, diagnostic and repair skills.
Experience using contemporary scan tools and workshop software.
Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
Pays close attention to detail.
Manages your time effectively and understands the importance of productivity.
Communicates clearly and professionally with the people around you.
