We Make, We Store, and We Deliverto a diverse client base.Our strong team culture, long-term employment stability, and commitment to career development make Coogee an ideal place to grow your career and be part of a thriving future.Job DescriptionAbout the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer, ideally with a strong Electrical Engineering background and proven instrumentation experience, to support the Engineering Services Manager with the successful delivery of all required E,I&C; project deliverables across Coogee.In this key leadership role, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team of seven EI&C; professionals (Engineers, Designers, Supervisors, Control Systems Engineering and E&I; Drafting), providing technical oversight and direction whilst ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality delivery according to scope, schedule and budget.You will also play a hands‐on role where required - supporting engineering design, technical reviews, problem‐solving and site support - while driving improvements to standards, processes and project delivery practices.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the team of E&I; professionals to successfully deliver the EI&C; aspects of site projectsDevelop project plans,



manage budgets and ensure project deliverables are met on time and to a high standardLiaise with stakeholders, contractors and internal teams to coordinate project activitiesPrepare technical documentation, specifications, drawings and reportsProvide technical support and problem-solving during project executionEnsure projects adhere to all relevant regulations, standards and safety requirementsThe Successful Candidate Will HaveA tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering is preferred; a Light Current Engineering qualification may be considered only where the candidate can demonstrate strong electrical engineering capability and relevant E&I; experienceA minimum 10 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer with substantial instrumentation experience, ideally within the chemicals, resources or manufacturing industriesAbility to lead a multidisciplinary team of EI&C; professionalsProject management skills with the ability to deliver complex engineering projectsStrong technical knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and control systemsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsFamiliarity with relevant Australian and International electrical and instrumentation standardsStrong communication skills (numeric, written and verbal)Benefits and PerksCompetitive salary and financial incentivesBenefits and PerksWellness incentivesSocial events throughout the yearCoogee Chemicals is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity.
