About The RoleAs a Biosecurity Officer with the Central West LLS team, you'll play a key role in supporting landholders to manage pest animals and Biosecurity in the region.
You'll work on field activities, provide advice on pest animal management, and compliance with regulations, helping protect the agricultural landscape and natural ecosystems.
You'll collaborate with stakeholders, support emergency response efforts, and ensure programs meet national biosecurity standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct field and regulatory activities for pest and disease managementEnsure compliance with biosecurity legislation and regulationsEngage with customers and stakeholders on biosecurity initiativesSupport surveillance, investigation, and emergency response effortsMaintain accurate records and contribute to program evaluation.Key ChallengesEngaging diverse stakeholders while applying regulationsBalancing planned activities with immediate biosecurity needs.Join us in making a meaningful impact on biosecurity and agricultural sustainability in our region!
