At Woonona Dentists, we're looking for a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant who wants to join a busy, supportive and friendly practice and build a genuine long-term career. This role is available full-time or part time, and for the right person.
Key responsibilities
Chairside assisting across general and advanced dentistry
Preparing surgeries and treatment rooms
Sterilisation and infection control
Instrument processing and maintaining clinical areas
Supporting efficient patient flow throughout the day
Assisting with digital radiography and clinical photography where appropriately trained
Monitoring stock and clinical supplies
Supporting dentists and the wider team with smooth day-to-day clinical operations
Providing excellent patient care and communication
About you
Are reliable, organised and punctual
Have strong infection-control knowledge
Work well in a fast-paced setting
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
Take pride in providing a high standard of patient care
Are proactive and willing to take ownership of your role
Enjoy learning and developing new skills
