You will collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders whilst developing your legal knowledge and practical skills supporting the Department's health, ambulance services, mental health and ageing portfolios.

Key responsibilities
As the Generalist Paralegal, you will report to the Legal Practice Manager within the Legal and Governance Branch and will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of legal services across the Branch.
Working under the supervision of senior solicitors, you will provide paralegal support across a broad range of legal matters, with work allocated according to business priorities and operational needs.
The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of all Victorians.

What you need
A law degree or related qualification is an advantage.
Experience as a paralegal or within the legal field is an advantage.
