n Position: Fleet Manager
n Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
n Hours: 38 hours per week
n Mode: Full time
n Location: Sydney

R Polites Transport Pty Ltd requires a qualified Fleet Manager for its transport operation in Sydney Metropolitan Area.

n

The successful candidate Must be willing to travel interstate and regional area of Australia with short notice from the management.

n

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

n

n
Selecting and procuring vehicles (purchasing or leasing) based on fleet needs and budget.
n
Scheduling and overseeing regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
n
Ensuring all vehicles are registered, licensed, insured and meet safety and regulatory standards.
n
Managing the process of selling or retiring vehicles when they are no longer needed
n
Supervise fleet personal, incl. interviewing prospective employees, providing and/or recommending training, coordinating, scheduling and assigning work and performance monitoring.
n
Managing the fleet budget, tracking expenses, and providing regular reports to management.
n




Identifying prospects to reduce overall fleet operating costs through various initiatives.
n
Review maintenance invoices to ensure that proper maintenance was performed
n
Keep employees informed about their fleet programmes and progress and ensure compliance with OH&S; Regulation.
n

Annual salary $90,000 to $110,000 plus super

n

The successful candidate must have

n

n
A valid HC driving licence
n
Tertiary qualification in Business or Management
n
Solid knowledge of vehicle maintenance
n
Minimum one year of work experience in a similar role
n
Excellent vehicle management and organizational skills
n
Strong communications and exceptional interpersonal skills
n
