As the Health Promotion Officer at Tallangatta Health Service, you will play a key role in improving the health and wellbeing of our community through the planning, delivery and evaluation of evidence-based health promotion initiatives.

Key responsibilities
Working closely with community groups, local organisations, health services and key stakeholders, you will develop programs that address local health priorities, build community capacity, promote healthy lifestyles and support positive health outcomes across our catchment.
Planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based health promotion programs and initiatives that address local health priorities.
Building and maintaining robust partnerships with community groups, schools, local organisations, health services and key stakeholders.
Conducting community needs assessments and using data to inform health promotion planning, delivery and evaluation.

What you need
Team-oriented, proactive and community focused approach.
Relevant qualification in Health Promotion, Public Health or a related field.
Experience delivering health promotion and community wellbeing initiatives.
