The position is responsible for leading frontline livestock operations, coordinating staff and contractors, and ensuring resources are allocated to meet the operational needs of the business.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Saleyard Manager, you will: Promote and maintain high standards of work health and safety, animal welfare and biosecurity.
Reporting to the Saleyard Manager, you will: Work collaboratively with livestock agents, producers, transport operators and other stakeholders.
Working closely with the Saleyard Manager and Operations Manager, you will provide hands-on leadership to operational staff and assist in ensuring livestock sales and associated activities run safely, efficiently and effectively.
The role supports livestock sales, private weighing, transhipment, feeding and other livestock activities while maintaining high standards of animal welfare, biosecurity and workplace safety.
