The role champions contemporary, evidence-informed approaches, strengthens workforce capability and supports the delivery of high-quality psychological care for individuals with severe personality disorders within forensic mental health settings.
Key responsibilities
Lead and deliver specialist clinical education, consultation and workforce development initiatives relating to personality disorder and forensic mental health.
Provide expert advice to clinical and program leaders, contributing to strategic planning, service development and evaluation activities.
Build capability across multidisciplinary teams through supervision, consultation and implementation of best-practice frameworks.
Contribute to research,
innovation and the translation of contemporary evidence into clinical practice.
What you need
You are a highly experienced and respected psychologist with a passion for improving outcomes for people with complex personality disorders.
You bring significant clinical expertise, robust leadership capability and a commitment to evidence-based, trauma-informed care.
Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology and/or Forensic Psychology.
