About the role

Permanent part-time position for an experienced Dental Assistant in a up-to-date boutique specialist orthodontic practice. This is a cross-trained position working Wednesdays 9am to 5pm and Fridays 9am to 5pm, around 14 hours a week, with additional shifts regularly offered by agreement and genuine room for your hours to grow. You will work across both chairside and front desk duties.

Key responsibilities
Chairside assisting across orthodontic treatments with doctors
iTero scanning, intraoral photos and records
Sterilisation and infection control to protocol
Running the front desk on rostered days: phones, online enquiries, booking, payments and end-of-day reconciliation in Ortho2 Edge
Stepping chairside as cover when the Senior Dental Assistant is away

About you
Certificate III in Dental Assisting, or at least 12 months' chairside experience, essential
Orthodontic experience highly regarded
Warm and unflappable with kids,



teens and parents
Reliable on Wednesdays and Thursdays year-round, including Thursday evenings

Benefits
$34 to $38 per hour + super, above award, based on experience
