Algester Sports Club is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Casual Bar Attendant / Gaming Attendant to join our team.
Algester Sports Club is a family-friendly venue proudly servicing the local community.
Our venue operates 7 days a week and features 70 gaming machines, a busy bar, restaurant, TAB and Keno facilities, and late-night trade, with the venue open until 2:00am on Friday and Saturday nights.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a rapid-paced hospitality environment, provides excellent customer service, and is confident working across both bar and gaming operations.
About the Role
Your duties will include:
Providing exceptional customer service to patrons
Preparing and serving beverages
Operating gaming machines and TAB facilities
Processing Keno and TAB transactions
Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the venue
Assisting with venue operations during busy periods
Ensuring compliance with all RSA and RSG requirements
Essential Requirements
Current RSA and RGS Certificate
Minimum 1 year hospitality/bar experience
Previous gaming experience preferred
Sound TAB and Keno knowledge essential
Availability to work weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and late nights
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
Ability to work well within a team environment
