We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Trades Assistant to join our client’s manufacturing plant. This is a outstanding chance for someone with a strong workshop background who enjoys hands‑on work and supporting maintenance and production teams.
The successful candidate will be reliable, mechanically minded and confident using a range of hand and power tools.
About the Role
Assisting qualified tradespeople with maintenance and repair tasks
Using a variety of hand and power tools
Assisting with maintenance and production tasks as required
Working safely and following all workplace procedures
Working both independently and as part of a team
Maintaining a high level of attention to detail
About You
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Welding knowledge or hands‑on welding experience – mandatory
Experience assisting tradespeople or maintenance teams
Current Forklift Licence – essential
Ability to use hand and power tools confidently
Solid work ethic and a proactive approach
What’s on Offer?
$36.00 per hour casual rate
8:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday
6:00am – 2:00pm Friday
Opportunity to go permanent
Some on-call or weekend work may be required, however this is extremely infrequent
