About the Opportunity
n
We areseekinga Senior Finance Professional to join our CFO Advisory teamin Sydney. In thisrole, you will partnerwith CFOs and finance leaders to navigate
change,addresscomplex
finance and reporting challenges, and respond to evolving
regulatoryrequirementswith
practical,commerciallyfocused
solutions. You willbringbroad
experienceacrossfinancial
reporting
frameworks,AASB/IFRSconcepts,
financetransformationand
governance tohelpclients strengthen their finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Client Service & Advisory Delivery
n
n
Lead the delivery of complex CFO Advisory engagements from scoping through to execution and closure.
n
Providestrategic advice to CFOs and finance leaders on finance function effectiveness, governance, operatingmodelsand transformation initiatives.
n
Lead finance transformation programs, including process improvement,
organisationaldesignand
finance capability uplift.
n
Deliver technical accounting,
financialreportingand
IFRS advisory services to clients.
n
n
Business Development & Practice Growth
n
n
Develop andmaintainstrong client and referral networks.
n




Identifynew business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth across CFO Advisory and the broader Advisory practice.
n
Lead the preparation of
proposals,tendersand
client presentations.
n
n
Climate-related Financial Disclosures
n
n
Assistclients operationalise and embed climate reporting requirements, particularly around financial modelling, data collection and data integrity, forecasting, business performance analysis, finance governance, processdesignand integration into finance systems
n
n
Leadership & People Development
n
n
Lead,mentorand develop Managers, Assistant Managers, Senior Consultants and Consultants.
n
Drive a high-performance and collaborative team culture.
n
Provide coaching, technical guidance and performance feedback.
n
Support recruitment,
workforceplanningand
capability development initiatives.
n
n
Practice Management
n
n
Oversee engagement economics, budgeting,
resourceplanningand
profitability.
n
Monitor project risks and ensure compliance with BDO's quality and risk management framework.
n
Contribute to strategic planning and operational management of the CFO Advisory service line.
n

About You
n

is passionate aboutbuildingand leadinghigh-performing teams,has a natural ability toidentifyand capitalise on opportunitiesand canhelp shape and commercialise recent CFO Advisory offerings.

Combined with:

CA,CPAor equivalent professional qualification
n
Extensive experience managing and deliveringfinance functions, financial reporting, governance, controls,
processimprovementand
finance transformation
n
Sound knowledge of IFRS and corporate reporting requirements, with an appreciation of climate-related reporting and its interaction with finance processes
n
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
n
Proventrack recordin business development, client
relationshipmanagementand
revenue generation.
n




Proven people leadership capability, with experience coaching and developing teams
n
Experience leading large, multidisciplinary project teams
n
An understanding of how sustainability-related information informs financial
planning,budgetingand
forecasting, performance management, and corporate reporting (IFRS) will be highly valued.
