The Role
Provides GeoMetallurgical technical services and supportive governance for Geometallurgy and Mineralogy. The role supports the Principal GeoMetallurgy in business planning, plant optimisation, and troubleshooting across the company.
The Key Responsibilities
Technical Advisory: Provide expert Geometallurgical and mineralogical advice to Business Units and internal teams.
Chance Execution: Deliver expert technical input into Full Asset Potential (FAP) opportunity development.
Network Management: Establish and maintain high-value relationships with external vendors, OEMs, and research institutions.
Safety Leadership:
Model behavior aligned with the companies Safety Vision and Values, supporting active incident investigations.
The Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Geology, GeoMetallurgy, Metallurgical, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
At least 8 years relevant experience in the mining industry – Gold, Base Metals
Ability to take a 3-year business perspective in managing multiple competing priorities and reconciling these with the Company’s strategic priorities
Knowledge and experience with both Geology and metallurgy/mineral processing
Main background in mineral processing and knowledge in Geology
Skills & Personal Attributes
Solid background in production and management - desirable
Strong track record in business improvement and change management – desirable
Extensive travel is required
