AstrongopportunityisavailableforanexperiencedElectrician/ElectricalFieldServiceTechniciantojoinanestablishedAustraliantechnicalserviceoperationsupportingcommercialcateringandfoodserviceequipment.
Thispositionissuitedtoapracticalelectricalprofessionalwhocanconfidentlyinvestigatefaults,identifythecauseofequipmentproblemsanddelivereffectiverepairsinbothcustomer-siteandworkshopenvironments.
Thesuccessfulcandidatewillworkwithabroadrangeofcommercialelectricalequipment,gainingexposuretoservicing,commissioning,technicaltroubleshooting,warrantysupportandequipmentsetup.
The Chance
AstrongopportunityisavailableforanexperiencedElectrician/ElectricalFieldServiceTechniciantojoinanestablishedAustraliantechnicalserviceoperationsupportingcommercialcateringandfoodserviceequipment.
Thispositionissuitedtoapracticalelectricalprofessionalwhocanconfidentlyinvestigatefaults,identifythecauseofequipmentproblemsanddelivereffectiverepairsinbothcustomer-siteandworkshopenvironments.
Thesuccessfulcandidatewillworkwithabroadrangeofcommercialelectricalequipment,gainingexposuretoservicing,commissioning,technicaltroubleshooting,warrantysupportandequipmentsetup.
Key Responsibilities
Attendcommercialcustomersitestoinvestigateandresolveequipmentfaults
Diagnoseelectricalproblemsusingappropriatetestinganddiagnosticequipment
Service,repairandmaintaincommercialcateringandfoodserviceequipment
Performelectricaltestingandverifyequipmentisoperatingsafelyandcorrectly
Identifyfaultyelectricalcomponentsanddetermineappropriaterepairsolutions
Completeelectricalwiring,componentreplacementandequipmentmodificationswhereappropriatelylicensed
Install,testandcommissionnewcommercialequipment
Providepracticaltechnicalassistancetocustomersandservicetechnicians
Respondtotechnicalenquiriesbytelephoneandemail
Supportwarrantyinvestigationsandfollowserviceissuesthroughtoresolution
Communicatewithmanufacturersandsuppliersregardingtechnicalfaults,componentsandspareparts
Coordinatewithcontractorsandexternaltechnicianswhenrequired
Identifyandarrangepartsandcomponentsneededtocompleterepairs
Assistwithequipmentassemblyandelectricalsetup
Maintainaccurateservicereports,repairrecordsandpartsinformation




Supportworkshopandwarehouseactivitieswhenrequired
Applysafeworkingpracticesandcomplywithrelevantelectricalandworkplacesafetyrequirements
Requirements & Eligibility
Recognisedelectricaltradequalification
Relevantelectricallicenceorappropriatelicensingeligibility
Demonstratedexperienceinelectricaltroubleshootingandfaultdiagnosis
Strongpracticalknowledgeofelectricalsystems,wiring,controlsandcomponents
Experienceservicing,repairingormaintainingelectricalequipment
Backgroundincommercialappliances,industrialequipment,machinery,foodserviceequipmentorelectro-mechanicalsystemsisadvantageous
Abilitytodiagnosefaultsindependentlyandidentifypracticalrepairsolutions
Previousfieldserviceorcustomer-siteexperience
Abilitytocommunicateeffectivelywithcustomersandtechnicalpersonnel
Professionalapproachwhendealingwithmanufacturers,suppliers,contractorsandserviceteams
