Leeton District Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join its maternity team on a contract basis for 6 to 12 weeks, starting as soon as possible. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive birthing environment in regional NSW, bringing your clinical expertise and experience to a dedicated maternity service. The role offers flexibility and the chance to make a real difference in the care of mothers and newborns during a critical time.
Contract position, 6-12 weeks, ASAP start in Leeton, NSW
Hands-on birthing experience in a regional hospital setting
Work alongside a committed maternity team in a supportive clinical workplace
Preferred Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA
Demonstrated experience in birthing and labour care




Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary maternity team
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a birthing environment
Flexibility and adaptability in a regional healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
Current CPR and emergency resuscitation certification
