Personal Care Worker
to join our team on a
casual basis

The role is crucial in delivering high-quality aged care and disability support services, ensuring our vulnerable clients receive respectful, dignified care that enhances their quality of life. As a casual team member, you will have flexibility in your scheduling whilst contributing significantly to our mission of providing exceptional care to those who need it most.
Key responsibilities
Providing personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting to clients in a respectful and dignified manner
Assisting residents with mobility, transfers and positioning using appropriate manual handling techniques
Supporting residents with activities of daily living and promoting their independence where possible
Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' physical, emotional and behavioral wellbeing to senior staff
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of care provided and client observations
Contributing to a safe, clean and comfortable setting for residents
Assisting with mealtimes and ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration
Collaborating with the broader care team to ensure coordinated, person-centered care delivery
Adhering to infection control procedures, health and safety protocols and aged care standards
Treating all residents with compassion, respect and cultural sensitivity
What we're looking for
A qualification as a Personal Care Worker with an aged care qualification
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within the first three months of employment)
Demonstrated experience working in aged care or disability support settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with clients and staff




Physical capability to perform manual handling and personal care duties safely
A genuine commitment to person-centered care and respecting client dignity and autonomy
Reliability and ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Attention to detail and ability to accurately document client information and care provided
A nonjudgemental, empathetic approach to working with vulnerable and diverse populations
Knowledge of aged care standards and compliance requirements is advantageous
Experience with electronic care planning systems is desirable
