Role Overview
Seeking an experienced
Purchaser
to manage local procurement for a major infrastructure project, including sourcing, supplier engagement, purchase orders and delivery coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Manage
RFQs, quotations and purchase orders
.
Source and negotiate with suppliers on
pricing and delivery
.
Track and expedite orders to meet
project requirements
.
Coordinate with
Warehouse, Engineering, Logistics and Finance
.
Maintain procurement records and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years' experience
in purchasing/procurement.
Experience with
RFQs, supplier negotiations, POs and expediting
.
Knowledge of
SAP or other ERP systems
.
Solid commercial, communication and organisational skills.
Background in
construction, infrastructure, energy, mining or heavy industry
preferred.
