DISPENSARY TECHNICIAN/PHARMACY ASSISTANT - PART TIME

We are looking for an experienced and motivated dispensary technician/pharmacy assistant to join our friendly team at Heathcote Pharmacy. You will be part of a team who is passionate in providing excellent healthcare services and improving the health and well-being of our local community.

n

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

n

Applicants who have S2 & S3 Community Pharmacy Certificate or have previous pharmacy working experience will be highly considered. However, candidates with all levels of experience are welcome to apply. Supervised training will be provided in office.

n

The pharmacy offers part time position with flexibility around shifts plus a Saturday morning shift depending on your availability.

n

Candidates should be available for occasional Saturday morning shifts.

n

Your role will focus on:

Processing sale transactions
n
Providing advice and information on products
n
Taking scripts in and handing out scripts
n
Stock refilling and rotation
n
Receiving stock
n
Maintaining cleanliness of the pharmacy
n
Building a good working relationship with the team and the customers
n
Assist in the dispensary (if you have the necessary Pharmacy Certificates)
n

Is self-motivated and reliable

Has interest in learning current skillset

Able to take instructions and directions from supervisors
n
Is able to work independently and is a team player
n
Has good communication skills both written and verbal
n
Has a strong eye for detail and strives for accuracy
