KKN Foods Pty Ltdis seeking talented and experienced Chefs for a full time positions for our popular Indian restaurant locatedin Paddington, Qld 4064.
Duties Include /n
/n
Responsible for the preparation of dishes as per the menu and recipes.
/n
Ensuring that the meals are prepared as per the hygiene standards andserved to the customers on time.
/n
Ensure staff always adhere to Occupational health and safety measures.
/n
Ensuring the seasoning and garnishing of food are done appropriately as wellas ensuring that the right portion of food is served to the customers as perrestaurant standards.
/n
Analysing and approximating the price for food and human resource.
/n
Menu designing and amending details in menu, dishes whenever required aswell as planning seasonal specials.
/n
Ensuring that the food is stored in temperature-controlled facilities.
/n
Directing food preparation to meet any special dietary requirements of thecustomer.
/n
Managing stock inventory and ordering raw materials of high quality.
/n
Providing instructions to kitchen staff regarding the proper way of handlingcooking equipment and demonstrating different cooking styles.
/n
Monitoring the quality of raw and cooked food.
/n
Recruit, Train and mentor other kitchen staff and apprentices.
/n
Effectively deal and rectify with the issues for the smooth operations of thebusiness.
/n
Costing menu items including costing of food and labour costs.
/n
Work to resolve kitchen issues, listen to feedback and seek solutions inconjunction with fellow staff.
/n
Skills and Experience /n
/n
Certificate IV qualification is required.
/n
The candidate must have at least 2 years experience.
/n
To be energetic & motivated.
/n
Able to work under pressure.
/n
/n
Salary Package: $73,500 -$75,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
/n
