As the team undergoes an exciting transformation, we are looking for an energetic, confident, and reliable Bar Supervisor to lead from the front and take charge of the floor and bar during fast-paced service.
About the Role
As Bar Supervisor, you'll be the heartbeat of our service shifts. Working alongside management, you will lead and motivate our bar team, ensuring every drink is crafted fast and consistently, the atmosphere stays electric, and operations run seamlessly. From coordinating high-volume bar execution and stock replenishment to handling late-night guest relations and team coaching, you will take ownership of the room while keeping standards exceptionally high.
In this role you will:
Run efficient shifts in a high-volume setting while delivering engaging, friendly service.
Support and onboard bar staff, providing real-time feedback to foster an inclusive and respectful team culture.
Maintain deep product knowledge across our craft beers and selection of spirits. Ensure efficient drink prep, stock rotation, and bar set-ups/pack-downs.
Handle complex guest interactions, difficult situations,



and late-night venue conditions with composure and confidence.
Enforce Victorian liquor licensing laws, maintain strict Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), and prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our guests and crew.
Support inventory control, stocktakes, order needs, POS operations, and shift opening/closing procedures.
About you
To be the perfect addition to Heartbreaker, you will have 5 years prior experience in a comparable role within a hospitality business where you've demonstrated your strong leadership and people management skills. You'll also:
Have experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bar or hospitality venue.
Have led a team or led shifts.
Be a passionate hospitality professional with a strong knowledge of spirits and beer
Be energetic, calm under pressure, accountable, and eager to step up and multi-skill across all areas of the venue.
Have an up to date Victorian RSA certificate and thorough understanding of local liquor laws.
Be experienced with POS systems, cash handling, and basic inventory control.
Be Respectful, inclusive, and safety-focused, treating team members and guests with genuine warmth.
