We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Earthmoving plant Mechanic/Foreman to fill a position based atour workshop in Rye, Victoria.

Reporting to the State Workshop Manager, this position will involve but not be limited to:

n

n
Working on mostly earthmoving equipment at our landfill site and Transfer Stations.
n
General mechanical works
n
Both major and minor repairs
n
Carrying out breakdown repairs
n
Scheduled maintenance
n

n

The successful applicant will possess:

n

n
Trade certification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
n
Proven experience with repairing a range of earthmoving equipment
n
Familiarity with Quality Assurance & Occupational Health & Safety
n
Good communication and organisational skills
n
Reliability
n
Self motivation
n
The ability to work under pressure and changing priorities
n

In accordance with our Company's recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical, which includes a drug test. A current driving history, with a good driving record will also need to be provided.
