Hervey Bay Hospital's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the team on a 4-week contract commencing as soon as possible. This is an urgent placement opportunity in a busy, high-acuity workplace where you'll work alongside a dedicated clinical team delivering emergency care to the local community. Based in Hervey Bay, Queensland, this contract role offers the chance to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced setting.
4-week contract, commencing ASAP in a high-acuity emergency department

Chance to practise emergency nursing in a Queensland Health facility
Preferred Requirements
Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department setting




Strong clinical assessment and triage skills in a high-volume environment
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or equivalent
Ability to prioritise and respond effectively to acute presentations
Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing
Additional emergency-focused certifications (e.g. TNCC, ENPC) are advantageous
