Job Description
Responsible for coordination of transport and transport arrangements for patients and their escorts, including liaison with PATS coordinators for patients and escorts from interstate.

Key responsibilities

Assist clinicians in communicating with clients regarding their health care and health procedure, and any other health information, in a manner that is culturally sensitive and taking into considerations of any language barrier.

Support Aboriginal patients through culturally safe hospital care as a valued liaison across southern Adelaide health services.

Demonstrated ability to work in a culturally sensitive and accountable manner with Aboriginal individuals, families and communities.
n
Ability to develop supportive and team-oriented relationships with Aboriginal individuals, families and communities.
n
Significant experience in working with Aboriginal individuals, their families and communities.
