Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor
to join our supportive team. This role offers the opportunity to learn directly from the Director, who has over 20 years of industry experience, while working across a diverse range of projects in a friendly and flexible work environment.
As a Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor at iCheck Building Surveyors & Consultants, you will play an integral role in assisting with the assessment, inspection, and preparation of regulatory documentation for a variety of building projects. You will be supported by experienced surveyors while developing your technical knowledge and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
Review Class 1a and 10a building project documentation and prepare compliance assessment reports for senior staff review.




Assist with and attend site inspections alongside senior staff or independently.
Provide customer service and liaise with clients in a professional manner.
Prepare building permits and assist administration staff in processing documentation.
Requirements
Degree or Advanced Diploma in Building Surveying (essential).
Industry experience (preferred).
Solid attention to detail, IT skills, and willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Team-oriented with a long-term career focus.
