About The Opportunity
Working from our Canowindra branch on Wiradjuri Country, you'll be supported by experienced operators and leaders while developing the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for a long‐term career in transport and resource recovery.
Working alongside experienced operators and mentors, you'll learn how to safely operate rear lift collection vehicles servicing Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) customers throughout the local region.

What You'll Be Doing
Learning to safely operate a rear lift collection vehicle
Completing daily vehicle inspections and safety checks
Collecting recyclable containers from customer locations
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Performing manual handling activities throughout your shift
Delivering excellent customer service
Following safe work procedures and operational processes
Building practical skills and confidence through structured training
What We're Looking For
You don't need previous truck driving experience.

Minimum Requirements
Hold a current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
Have a minimum of 8 demerit points available on licence
Be able to obtain a Heavy Rigid Licence
Be willing to complete a pre‐employment medical assessment
Be willing to complete drug and alcohol testing
Be comfortable with early morning starts
Be willing to undertake physically active work
