About the role
Join Mackay's largest renewable energy provider – Mackay Sugar, for the **** Crushing Season.
Each of the three Mackay Sugar Mills incorporates an integrated power station, supplying electricity and thermal steam to power the milling process, as well as providing electricity to the both the Mackay Region and national grid.
Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, you will have the responsibility for operating and monitoring steam turbines, boilers, electrical generators in the power station at each of our mills.

It is our aspiration that successful candidates can progress towards a long-term career in as a Boiler Operator/ Assistant Boiler Operator, at either one of our three operational Factories.
Boiler Station Attendant / Trainee Roles (Potential for Fixed term role with opportunity to transition to Permanent for successful trainees) – No qualification required; industrial experience preferred

Ability and willingness to work shift work, weekends and some overtime where required
Currently hold a manual car license
