Join a major commercial project delivering the new Timaru Museum and Theatre development.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced electrical tradespeople supporting the installation of mains and control cabling, mechanical services switchboards, and BMS control systems.

$26-$30 per hour + 8% holiday pay

Duties
Assist with mains and control cable installation
Support electrical works for mechanical equipment
Support electrical works for hydraulic equipment
Install cable tray, brackets and wiring supports
Assist with mechanical services switchboards and BMS controls
Read plans, drawings and specifications
Complete cable laying, rough-ins and equipment positioning
Operate hand and power tools safely
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as an Electrical Trade Assistant
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Experience with cable installation and containment systems
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety
Site Safe Passport preferred
Reliable transport and strong work ethic
