About the Role
n
We are seeking applications for a Laboratory Technician to join our contemporary, NATA-accredited laboratory. This role will be working the afternoon shift from 1 pm - 9 pm. The role involves preparing samples for analysis and requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various tasks and work across multiple teams. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory processes.

Key Responsibilities

Sample Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyse samples, ensuring tests are conducted within the required holding time.
n
Quality Control: Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.
n
Safety:



Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
n
Documentation: Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
n
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.
n

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

Exceptional attention to detail
n
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
n
Ability to maintain competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong teamwork skills

A degree in Science with a Chemistry major is preferred
n
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
n
Required to work the 1-9 pm afternoon shift
