Requirements
Cert IV in Civil Construction / Site Management (or equivalent)
Current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence
Minimum 5+ years of supervisory experience across civil construction, roads, earthworks, or infrastructure
A solid, practical background progressing from a tradesperson or leading hand into site supervision
Current Construction White Card (CPR & Senior First Aid certification highly desirable)
Proven ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
Deep understanding of local building codes, state legislation,



and environmental standards
Demonstrated expertise in managing site logistics, heavy machinery operations, and subcontractor teams
Comprehensive knowledge of creating site safety plans, conducting risk assessments, and implementing hazard controls
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage project timelines and keep senior stakeholders informed
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily site operations, ensuring all works comply with strict health, safety, and environmental standards
Coordinate site logistics, streamline work schedules, and manage plant/personnel to optimize project delivery
Lead risk assessments, implement hazard controls, and resolve HSEQ issues using consultative methods
Ensure all traffic management plans, permits, and site authorizations are secured and compliant prior to works commencing
Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project management teams
Drive site innovation to identify cost-saving efficiencies, material gains, and mitigate potential risks
Hire, supervise, mentor, and assess team members and subcontractors to ensure high-quality output
Manage essential project documentation efficiently, including timesheets, daily logs, and incident reports
