We are a high volume cake manufacturer looking for an experienced cake decorator/cake finisher to join our team.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Masking and decorating cakes
n
Measuring and mixing of ingredients
n
Following production/recipe sheets
n
Finishing and packaging of products
n
Cleaning and wash up of production and other areas
n
Other occasional tasks related to the role
n
About you
n
Excellent piping and cake masking skills - decorating around 40 cakes per day (this is not fine detailed work)
n
Creative in your field
n
Valuable communication and basic math skills
n
Strong team player
n
Ability to take direction
n
Ability to use your initiative
n
Self motivated and enthusiastic nature
n
Friendly personality
n
Ability to adapt to change
n
Fit and healthy individual - essential
n
Must be able to lift 15 kg
n
Valid work visa is essential
n
HACCP knowledge – highly regarded but not essential
n
Previous experience in a similar role within a pastry/cake kitchen will be an added advantage
