About the role
n
This is a hands-on role combining local truck deliveries and warehouse work. We are a growing storage and distribution business based in Berrinba looking for a reliable Delivery Driver and Warehouse Storeperson to join our team. We are open to applicants seeking either part-time work or longer-term full-time opportunity, with a genuine opportunity for hours to increase for the right person based on performance, reliability and business requirements.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Driving a small truck to make local deliveries
n
Picking and packing cartons in a 3°C chiller and -18°C freezer
n
Counting and tallying stock
n
Regularly lifting and moving cartons weighing *****kg, with some up to 30kg
n
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and operating efficiently
n
n
About you
n
n
Valid driver's licence and a good driving record
n
Reliable transport to and from our Berrinba warehouse
n
Physically fit and able to safely lift 20kg cartons repetitively
n
Comfortable working in freezer environments regularly
n
Reliable attendance and punctuality
n
Good work ethic and attention to detail
n
Looking for a stable, long-term position
n

Highly regarded
n
n
Forklift licence and/or deep reach forklift experience
n
Previous warehouse or food distribution experience
n
Experience working with chilled or frozen products
n
Living in or around Logan area
n
n
Hours
n
Currently Monday, Tuesday and Friday
n
Approximately 24 hours per week to start.
n
For the right person, there is an opportunity to move into a full-time position after a successful probation period, based on performance, reliability and business requirements.
