Growing fabrication and installation construction company in Truganina seeks experienced sheet metal worker / fabricator to work on diverse range of projects both in workshop and onsite projects across Melbourne. Position requires the successful applicant to be able to self-start and work through tasks given with minimal supervision as both a workshop sheet metal fabricator and an onsite installer.
Key responsibilities
Work on diverse range of projects both in workshop and onsite across Melbourne
Complete sheet metal fabrication work in stainless, mild steel and aluminium
Follow shop drawings and complete work within scheduled times
Take accountability and show initiative on tasks at hand
Deliver high quality products
Perform onsite installation work
About you
Trade certificate and sheet metal fabrication qualification required
Proven competence in mig, tig and arc welding of mild, aluminium and stainless steels
Able to read shop and construction drawings
Experience in metal fabrication (4 years preferred)
Own hand tools, welding mask and reliable transport
