We are seeking an experienced Groundskeeper / Landscaping Horticulture professional to join a dedicated team responsible for maintaining the grounds of a cemetery setting.
n
About the Role
n
You will be responsible for maintaining designated grounds and landscaped areas to a high standard, including:
n
n
Regular mowing, gardening, watering and general grounds maintenance
n
Fertilising gardens and lawns and applying fertiliser correctly
n
Trimming and pruning hedges, plants and trees
n
Installing turf and completing appropriate after-care
n
Identifying plants, pests and diseases, undertaking routine weed-spraying applications
n
Conducting chemical spraying in accordance with training, instructions and safety procedures
n
Safely operating and maintaining a wide range of plant, equipment, machinery and hand tools
n
Keeping gardens,



lawns and surrounding graves clean, and well presented
n
Located near Lidcombe area, Temp to Permanent position
n
n
About You
n
n
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the safe operation and maintenance of plant, equipment, machinery and tools
n
Experience with chemical spraying, with relevant training or a willingness to work towards a formal chemical-handling qualification
n
The ability to work effectively autonomously and as part of a team
n
A current NSW Driver Licence and Own Car
n
Working towards, or willingness to attain, a Certificate III in Horticulture or a related field such as Parks and Gardens, Turf Management or Landscaping
n
Must be an Australian Citizen or Australian Citizen
n
Must be able to Pass a Medical and Police Check
