Receptionist – Front of House & Sales Support
to join our team.
As one of the first people our customers meet when they visit or contact our dealership, you'll play an important role in creating the premium customer experience expected from Mercedes-Benz Ballarat.
This is much more than a traditional reception position.
You'll enjoy a varied role combining customer service, reception, telephone coordination, customer lounge and café management, new vehicle deliveries and sales support.
What you'll be doing
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming customers and guests to the dealership
Managing our reception and Front of House area
Answering and coordinating incoming telephone calls
Directing customer enquiries to the appropriate department
Taking and communicating accurate messages
Ensuring our customer lounge is welcoming and well presented
Offering and preparing refreshments for customers and guests
Managing the day-to-day presentation and operation of our customer café and refreshment area
Assisting with new vehicle stock deliveries and associated processes
Working with our Sales Team to coordinate customer vehicle deliveries
Assisting with vehicle handover preparations
Scheduling and preparing for customer delivery appointments
Preparing customer handover materials and documentation




About you
We're looking for someone who:
Genuinely enjoys dealing with people
Has a warm, qualified and approachable manner
Delivers exceptional customer service
Has an excellent telephone manner
Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
Has strong attention to detail
Is comfortable working in a busy environment
Enjoys working as part of a team
Can confidently communicate with customers face-to-face and over the telephone
Is computer literate and comfortable learning new systems
Takes pride in their personal presentation and workplace environment
Is proactive, flexible and happy to assist different areas of the dealership
Previous experience in reception, customer service or the automotive industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
Barista experience would also be an advantage; however, training can be provided.
A current driver's licence is required.
