Ignition car Centre is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team in Banyo, Brisbane.
In this full time role you will be the first point of contact for our customers and service team. You will be responsible for service bookings, greeting customers on drop off/collection, communicating with customers for additional work to be carried out and accurately invoicing repair orders.
Key responsibilities
Greet customers and understand their vehicle concerns and requirements
Book vehicles in for servicing, repairs, inspections and diagnostics
Prepare repair orders and provide accurate estimates
Explain required repairs and costs clearly to customers
Liaise with Workshop Staff
Keep customers updated on repair progress and any additional work
Obtain approval before carrying out additional repairs
Check completed work and ensure the vehicle is ready for collection
Handle customer questions and follow ups
What We're Looking For
Strong customer service and communication
Automotive knowledge or willingness to learn
Good organisation and time management




Dealer Management Experience or willingness to learn
Attention to detail and accurate paperwork
Professional, friendly and confident manner
Competitive remuneration based on experience plus ability to earn commissions on sales
