We are seeking experienced and compassionate
Registered Nurses (RNs)
to join our
Casual Nursing Pool
. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking for flexible shifts while working within a supportive and professional healthcare environment.
CCLHD is specifically looking for RNs to work in the inpatients units in medical, surgical, aged care and mental health with a minimum of 2 shifts per month requirement.
About the Role
As a Casual Pool Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care across a range of clinical settings and shifts. You will work collaboratively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards.
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.
Administering medications and treatments safely and effectively.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and handover.
Working collaboratively with medical, allied health and support teams.
Promoting a positive patient experience and maintaining a high standard of clinical practice.

We are looking for Registered Nurses who have:
Current
Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse
with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Recent clinical experience relevant to the position speciality, with a demonstrated commitment to
quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice
.
Demonstrated effective clinical communication skills, including the ability to use information technology effectively and communicate with sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
An understanding of
team nursing
and demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Demonstrated ability to
prioritise and organise your workload effectively
in a dynamic clinical environment.
