The Yenda Producers Co-operative Society is an agricultural retailer and a part of the Yenda Group whose businesses share a common goal to provide quality goods and services to the rural sector in and around the Riverina and North-East Victoria.

We are currently looking for an outgoing and organised Warehouse Officer to join our team working in our retail branch in Leeton.
n
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to
n
n
Load fertilizer and chemical.
n
Keep storage sheds tidy and segregate chemical as per Agsafe requirements.
n
Assist with the coordination of deliveries and perform the delivery of goods for Yenda, and other branches when required.
n
General maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles and plant.
n
Book in vehicles for inspections and arrange to have any defects cleared.
n
Work with the branch Office administration to coordinate the payment of registrations and insurances.
n
Record keeping of services and repairs for all heavy vehicles.
n
Provides customer service and assistance.
n
Aid customer service staff when required, including the use of point of sale software.
n




Assists in preparation and co-ordination of annual and periodic stock takes.
n
Ensure necessary licences for the role are renewed as required.
n
Other duties as required and/or as delegated in line with job role and required tasks.

Essential requirements
n
n
Current driver licence.
n
A strong work ethic and the ability to work in a team.
n
A good level of physical fitness (some lifting is required)
n
HC Heavy Vehicle Licence
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Forklift licence - To be obtained on the job if the successful candidate does not hold one.
n
Some evidence of customer service experience.
n
Agriculture industry knowledge would be beneficial, but not necessary.
n
MC Licence

This is a full time position working 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday. An immediate start is available, however we are flexible on a start date for the right candidate.
