And as a permanent full time Claims Assessor in our Disability and Superannuation team based in Brisbane, this is the perfect opportunity for a Legal Assistant to take the next step in their legal career. You'll work closely with our legal team to make a meaningful, long-lasting impact for our clients.

With empathy, adaptability and initiative, you will be a true champion of our clients by:
n
n
Cultivating strong relationships and trust, when listening to our clients during the initial client interview.
n
Corresponding with superannuation funds to obtain client related information.
n
Assessing our clients' insurance policy documents.
n
Applying a foundational understanding of the legal environment to prepare information relating to potential disability insurance claims.
n
Supporting our Legal team with administrative tasks and optimising the use of internal systems to process information.
n
Assisting with preparing matters for conference and hearing, including preparation of court and legal documents and general correspondence.

What you'll bring
n
n
Previous
administration/business
support experience.
n
Accurate typing skills with intermediate Word & Excel skills.
n
Keen eye for detail in your document management and collation skills.
n
You'll be a outstanding communicator both verbally and in writing.
n
You'll be naturally empathetic and have a resolute passion for helping people.
n
You'll recognise and value the importance of your role in being the gateway to support our clients.
n
The availability to work full time, 38 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:15am – 5pm.
