We are seeking an Accounts Officer to join our Finance team. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of our accounts payable and receivable functions while supporting the organisation's financial operations and reporting requirements. About the Role

Accounts Payable
n
n
Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
n
Match supplier invoices to purchase requests and purchase orders.
n
Process supplier payments in accordance with agreed payment terms.
n
Complete weekly and monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
n
Manage the Payments inbox, respond to supplier enquiries, and resolve payment discrepancies.
n
Maintain supplier account details and creditor terms within the ERP system.
n
Complete month-end accounts payable activities within required deadlines.
n
Monitor and report on outstanding creditor balances and ageing.
n
Deliver exceptional customer service to suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Accounts Receivable
n
n
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
n
Prepare aged debtor reports to support timely collections.
n
Allocate and receipt customer payments across multiple payment methods.
n
Create and maintain accurate customer accounts and master data.
n
Generate customer invoices in accordance with company policies and payment terms.
n
Monitor and reconcile debtor ledgers to ensure accuracy.
n

About You
n
n
2-3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable role, ideally within a medium to large organisation.
n
Experience within the automotive industry is highly regarded.
n
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice matching, reconciliations and payment processing.
n
Experience maintaining financial controls and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
n
Experience using ERP or accounting systems (SAP experience is advantageous).
n
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
