Joyce Mechanical Services is looking for experienced Diesel Fitters to join our established crew at Poitrel Mine on a 7:7 rotating day/night roster.
This isn't a short-term fill-in or a couple of swings while the work is there.
You'll be joining JMS under an established 2-year contract, with strong potential for extension, giving you the security of knowing your site, your roster and where you'll be working ahead of time.

Poitrel is your site. 7:7 is your roster. You'll know where you're going next swing.
That means you can plan your work, plan your days off and have some certainty around what's coming next.
And if you want extra hours, there are opportunities for overtime onsite or through our Mackay workshop.
THE WORK




You'll be working as part of an established JMS crew maintaining a fleet of Caterpillar heavy mobile equipment, including:
Diagnostics, servicing and repairs
Preventative maintenance and inspections
Mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting
Breakdown and maintenance support
Working alongside site maintenance teams
Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
We're looking for fitters who take pride in doing the job properly and want to be part of a crew they can rely on.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You'll need:
Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or equivalent
HME/mining maintenance experience
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
Experience working on diesel engines and heavy equipment
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a crew
Good attitude and pride in your workmanship
Strong commitment to safety and quality
CBM and S11 are highly regarded but not essential.
